Here at Maruso i, we don't arrive with preconceived ideas. We don't sell instant, one-size-fits-all solutions. Everyone knows their own business, but we see your business differently.  We can help you to increase your returns by identifying your needs, involving your staff in solutions and thus improve your overall business performance.

Maruso i is wholly owned by Maggie Sokolow.  Maggie trained as a Registered Nurse and enjoyed a successful career specialising in the care and rehabilitation of stroke victims and the young disabled.

As the manager of the pioneering stroke rehabilitation unit at Tickhill Road Hospital she developed the concept of multi-disciplinary patient care.  She was appointed Head of Special Projects where she established the Nurse Bank, initiated the move to outreach nursing for stroke patients and was heavily involved in a skills mix review for the staff at the hospital.

Outside the NHS Maggie managed a private nursing home – moving the home from 78% bed occupancy to 100% across her tenure - and worked on a major drugs rehabilitation programme for the Home Office.

Most recently, Maggie spent ten years with NHS Blood and Transplant where she worked within a team developing the Knowledge and Skills Framework that now underpins all NHS staffing and career progression.  As a project manager with the service she was involved in a major review of the donation process and the establishment of joint-venture static donation centres before leaving to establish her own consultancy service specialising in job role development and change management.

Maggie is PRINCE2 accredited and has used Lean principles in many of the projects on which she has worked.  She has a particular interest in partnership working and the concepts of team ownership in the management of change.
